1. Plums will bloom between March 15 and March
25 with 5 petals. The color of the flower is milk-white
color and calyx is brown-colored. The flower has
a subtle scent.
2. The petals are oval-shaped. The width of a flower
is 42mm and the length is 82mm. A leafstalk is 12mm
long.
3. The bud of a branch is green. In summer it turns
to pale green color, and it becomes brownish green
in early autumn.
4. The trunk of the tree is green at first. As time
goes, the color changes to brown and dark brown.
5. The main trunk is round and has horizontal lines
on the skin. Branches for fruits are short and sharp
with thorns. For these thorns, people call as ¡°sogu
plums.¡± Branches and trunks are very hard. |
6. New roots are plain white color.
As it becomes thicker, the color becomes brown and
it hardens. The one of main roots grows into the
deep soil. It has other 5~7 main roots and they
grow 1.2 times longer than branches.
7. Each side of the seed is pointed at the end.
The body is in the swollen shape and has many tiny
holes on it. |
